The weather today was absolutely fantastic! so it seems all of Portland took the opportunity to eat lunch outside, including this guy:

Here is possibly the most ridiculous sunset yet (I take photos of nearly every one I catch, and post some of the best). I'm usually in a lab on Wednesday evenings, but it was canceled this week. Otherwise, I wouldn't have caught this:
A while back (while there was no internet in my house) there was a Vox Hunt asking about refrigerator contents. Well, I took a picture:

Sundae Sundays!
There's always hard-serve ice cream available in the dining hall, but every Sunday at dinner there are sundae toppings as well. Lots of 'em. This week there was even peppermint ice cream, which is unusual and a treat even without hot fudge sauce. Here's a photo I took of my creation on the walk back to my dorm:
