Our boat trip yesterday ended just after dark, meaning we got to see the sunset from the boat. It was beautiful!
As I mentioned yesterday, we took a boat ride to Hvar, a lovely but touristy town on an island (also called Hvar). Here are some photos from there:
We spent most of today boating, with a stop for lunch on the island of Hvar. This is how the coastline looks:

Here's one from the trip I took to California two years ago:
This photo is of a lovely little farm within walking distance of my house. They no longer have cows, but there is a farmers' market, a community garden, trails, a lot of sheep, and... chickens! (I wanted a picture of the sheep, but they were in a back pasture and not so easily photographed).
Here is possibly the most ridiculous sunset yet (I take photos of nearly every one I catch, and post some of the best). I'm usually in a lab on Wednesday evenings, but it was canceled this week. Otherwise, I wouldn't have caught this:
We've had snow before this (I've even posted photos of it), but none of it has lasted. This stuff's been around all day! I've walked through it and everything! Exciting. I can't wait for winter break.
I almost wish I could keep that photo of Ruffles up at the top of my blog, but I have new photos to post...
I took these yesterday. I went out on the soccer field to take pictures of the fog, and while I was there the sun came out full-force. (About half an hour later it was pouring.) The first photo here was taken looking west into the fogbank; the second was taken when the sun came out behind me.
