I figured I should post the photo from my user icon. This pond is on the way to the music building. For much of the year it is filled with angry Canada geese, which can often make it hard to pass, unfortunately for the music students. "Late to class due to geese" is not uncommon.
What you can't see from this picture is that the cattails around the pond are absolutely FILLED with red-winged blackbirds. There must have been hundreds of 'em.
